The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia spreads information regarding the fires in Greece.

According to the agency, the staff of the Georgian Embassy in Athens is joining the humanitarian aid campaign launched across the country.

According to the Foreign Ministry, anyone can contribute.

"Considering the huge damage caused by the fierce fires on the territory of Greece, the employees of the Embassy of Georgia in Athens are joining the humanitarian aid campaign launched in the country with their initiative and funds.

According to the recommendation of the Greek authorities, primary consumption items are collected: 1. Medications (painkillers, burn creams); 2. Hygienic means; 3. Food (canned food, dry food, water, juice); 4. Animal food.

The above items will be handed over to the fire-affected municipalities.

Georgian Post has already joined the Embassy's humanitarian initiative.
