One of the cases of coronavirus registered today is in Batumi. Tornike Rizhvadze, the Head of the Adjara Government, reported the case. According to him, the condition of the patient is stable. The patient was in the quarantine zone before the virus was revealed. The patient is placed in the Batumi Infectious Diseases Hospital.

The Chairman of the Adjara government states that there is no risk of coronavirus local spread since it is an imported infection, and all protective measures are undertaken.

It is known that the infectious patient did not have contact with other people, nor with his family members. He had a temperature rise during his stay in quarantine and was placed into hospital cubicle.

The number of coronavirus-positive persons in Georgia is thirty-three; 427 are in quarantine, and seventy-three remain under doctors’ observation in clinics.
