Medical Director of the Infectious Diseases Hospital Marina Ezugbaia confirms the information on an increase in the number of coronavirus patients. She says that four cases have been classed as severe since patients are not only suffering from other diseases, but they are also senior citizens; further health complications and even deaths can also be expected.
Georgia has so far recorded a total of 44 cases. Out of 44, one was cured and discharged from hospital, 1,925 quarantined, and 271 provided with in-patient care.
