"Today shows that we are not safe, our first obligation is to be more careful," the Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia stated.

The head of the government called on the citizens to be more careful and travel in Georgia.

"I want to talk about the epidemiological situation and call on each of our citizens to be more careful. We have to take care of each other, and of course, we, all of us together, have to take care of Georgian tourism. I call on each of you to travel and plan your vocations in Georgia. It will be the biggest support for our economy and our tourism this year," Gakharia said.

According to the latest data, 818 cases of coronavirus confirmed in Georgia, of which 686 recovered and 13 died.

Out of the eight new cases confirmed today, three are from the medical field. They work at the Botchorishvili clinic.
