Vazha Gaprindashvili has already left the Gori Police Department and made the first comment to journalists.
“Let me recollect myself, and then I will share the full information. Many thanks to my friends for support, particularly to my beautiful wife and brilliant daughters. Unfortunately, I had little information. We have to unite to do the job for the benefit of Georgia”,- said Vazha Gaprindashvili.
For the information: the de-facto Tskhinvali regime detained Vazha Gaprindashvili for illegal so-called “border” crossing on November 9.
The doctor did not recognize the accusation and repeated that he was on the territory of Georgia during the whole period of his detainment.
De-facto regime sentenced Vazha Gaprindashvili to 1 year and nine months of imprisonment on December 20.
He has been released from imprisonment today.
