"The Fund for Development of the Highlands of Georgia will allocate GEL 1.5 million to restore the boarding school for the children in Shatili in the nearest future," Giorgi Gakharia, the Prime Minister of Georgia said at the government meeting.
According to the Gakharia, the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia will discuss the issue today.
"As you know, the boarding school in Shatili burned down in October 2019. We promised to restore the boarding school in the nearest future. Climatic conditions allow us to begin works. Of course, we will fulfill this promise," the head of the government said.
The school burnt down on October 17, 2019, in Shatili.
