Coronavirus case numbers are still high in our neighbor countries, according to Amiran Gankrelidze, the head of the National Center for Disease Control. In his words, Georgia is considered a Green Zone, which is why the Coordination Council decided to ease restrictions.

"Public transport, including the subway, will start operation tomorrow, with this being an important step for easing coronavirus restrictions. Restaurants, stores will be opened, followed by malls in a week. From July 1, international travel is also planned to start. At this point, our country is deemed a Green Zone," Amiran Gamkrelidze said.
