Archil Talakvadze, Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, expressed his condolences for the death of Georgian writer Guram Dochanashvili.
“It is a pity that the great writer and outstanding person Guram Dochanashvili, who is a pride for everyone, has left us.
Several days ago, he had an anniversary, and we all hoped that he would be with us for a long time. Unfortunately, this did not happen, but the work of Guram Dochanashvili is immortal and will delight more than one generation.
On behalf of the Georgian parliament, I express my condolences to the family of Mister Guram, relatives and admirers of his work,” Archil Talakvadze said in a statement.
Georgian writer Guram Dochanashvili died today at 82.
