By today's decision of the Coordination Council of Georgia, citizens are re-obliged to wear face masks outdoors. Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze said that the regulation becomes effective today. ''Considering the current epidemiological situation in the country, wearing face masks will prove to be one of the most important and effective tools to contain the fourth coronavirus wave,'' she stated.
Georgia registered 6,208 new coronavirus cases, 47 deaths, and 3,539 recoveries in the past 24 hours.
