Georgia has detected 1,250 new cases of the novel coronavirus infection, and the number of infected reached 302,785, StopCov.ge reports.

A total of 463 people recovered, with the total number hitting 284,749.

The virus claimed 15 lives in the past 24 hours, and the number of the death toll equaled 4,007.

Georgia conducted 31,958 tests in the past 24 hours, including fast antigen tests equaling 14,801 and PCR tests – 17,157.

Test positivity rates are as follows:

Daily – 3.91%

Over the past 14 days – 3.88%

Over the past seven days – 4.62%

Total vaccinated – 36,056, daily vaccinations - 1559

Georgia observed the first case of the novel coronavirus infection on February 26, 2020.
