Georgia confirmed 337 new cases of the novel virus in the past 24 hours to bring the total tally to 270,137, according to StopCov.ge. 

The country registered 320 recoveries in a single day, with the total number of recoveries now standing at 264,047.

The country's death toll rose by 10 in the last 24 hours and is now at 3,485. 

A total of 25,436 citizens were tested in a single day, with 17,311 undergoing rapid antigen tests and 8,125 PCR tests. 

Of the total number of tested citizens, positive test results were received by 1.32% in one day, by 2.2% in the last two weeks, and 2.03% in one week. 

Georgia confirmed its first COVID-19 case on 26 February 2020. The WHO labeled the novel virus a pandemic on 11 March 2020, with its outbreak starting in China in December of 2019. On 21 January, China confirmed that the new coronavirus is contagious and declared quarantine in its two cities.
