According to the First Deputy Minister of Health Tamar Gabunia, issuing COVID passports will be introduced in Georgia in the near future.
As she explained after the Coordination Council, work is underway on the basic parameters reflected in the passport.
"We are considering COVID passports; works are underway on the main parameters that will be reflected - it will definitely be a history of vaccination, a history of the transmitted disease, and in some cases, will be the answer to the PCR test. Therefore, we are working on it, and I think this practice will be implemented soon," Gabunia said.
