Turkey and Georgia agreed to cooperate in the coordination of coronavirus spread prevention. The Foreign Minister, Davit Zalkaliani, talked about it during his meeting with the Ambassador of Turkey in Georgia, Fatma Jeran Ozcan.
The parties exchanged information on the COVID-19 outbreak in the countries. They also reviewed the activities the governments of the countries plan to implement to stop the virus spread in the respective countries. The importance and need for close and coordinated cooperation of the countries in preventive measures were emphasized. The parties assessed the steps undertaken by the governments to prevent the virus spread.
