The Red Cross will provide Georgia with 100,000 doses of the Sinopharm COVID vaccine.

First Deputy Health Minister of Georgia Tamar Gabunia said that all the details would be reported shortly.

In her words, the International Red Cross Federation and China’s Red Cross organization plan to donate the Sinopharm vaccine.

“Details on the time when the jabs are available will be reported shortly,’’ Gabunia said.

The World Health Organization granted emergency approval for the Covid vaccine made by Chinese firm Sinopharm.
