"We are working hard to bring our citizens back home. So far, we managed to bring back about three thousand citizens from various countries," Davit Zalkaliani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, said at a briefing at the governmental administration.

"We are trying to outline the specific directions for the withdrawal of Georgian citizens. They will undergo a 14-day quarantine. Today Berlin flight will take place tomorrow, the one from Greece," the Minister said.

According to him, there is a two-week plan for special flights to different countries where Georgian citizens are staying.

According to the latest data, there are 54 cases of new coronavirus infection confirmed in Georgia. Eight of them have already recovered, three of them left the clinics. There are 3 320 persons in quarantine and 235 in inpatient care.
