Registration for a vaccination with the Chinese Sinopharm is set to start in Georgia on 27 April.
Health Minister Tamar Gabunia says that the authorization of the vaccine is planned for late April.
''Following the recommendations by the Council, the Ministry of Health, the Disease Control Center, and experts will finalize the protocol and draw up detailed recommendations concerning the Sinopharm vaccine implementation process. The registration is set to start on 27 April.
We may give more priority to citizens under 60 when it comes to Sinopharm vaccine application in contrast to AstraZeneca, which we use in citizens over 55,'' the deputy health minister said.
