Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani delivered a speech at the session.
He highlighted the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and expressed hope that the international community will overcome the unprecedented difficulties.
David Zalkaliani also noted the ongoing unprecedented international cooperation in the development of a vaccine. The minister expressed gratitude to the WHO Regional Office for Europe, which helped Georgia fight against COVID-19.
One of the main topics of conversation was Russian aggression and the provocative actions of its northern neighbor, namely, the gross violation of human rights, a large-scale campaign of misinformation and propaganda, and the increasing frequency of cyberattacks.
