Director-General of Infectious Diseases, AIDS and Clinical Immunology Research Center, Tengiz Tsertsvadze, said that coronavirus cases would not see an upward trend if the public follows regulations.
''In my view, if we comply with the two regulations still in force _ wear face masks indoors and avoid large social gatherings _ the recently revoked regulation of wearing a face mask indoors will not result in increased cases. This is my personal opinion, and only time will tell whether it is true or false. No one has asked me, but I was for lifting the mask mandate,'' Tsertsvadze stated.
