Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Vakhtang Gomelauri has received a Pfizer booster shot at Nikoloz Kipshidze Central University Clinic.

Other employees at the ministry were also jabbed.

The ministry's press office says that the minister got involved in vaccination as soon as vaccines were delivered to the country. He was vaccinated on May 5.

Vaccination cabinets were also made available for staff members of the ministry at immunization centers. They can get vaccinated without prior registration at any time.

Around 80% at the ministry have already been vaccinated, with the majority of them fully, and now they are getting their booster shots.
