Georgian Police Attaché awarded in Poland

The Police Attaché of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia in Poland, Giorgi Gamsakhurdia, got an award. The First Class Independence Order was passed to him by Rafael Iankovski, the Chairman of Police Professional Union of Republic of Poland.

The Georgian representative was awarded the order for particular merit contributed as a result of successful cooperation with the Polish Police.

During the award ceremony Rafael Iankovski congratulated Giorgi Gamsakhurdia with the award and expressed his hope that Georgia and Poland will make more important contributions in the existing cooperation between Georgia and Poland to fight international organized crime in the future.

The ceremony was held at Warsaw Police Commandant’s Office, in the White Hall of Mostowski Palace. Together with Giorgi Gamsakhurdia the Chief Commandant of Warsaw Police and his Deputy, Warsaw Garrison Chaplain and several political and social activists were also awarded
