The Georgian Railway releases a statement regarding the traffic disruption.
"During the ongoing works within the modernization project framework, the contractor company of the Georgian Railway, China Railway 23rd Bureau Group, damaged the mast of the electricity contact network, which hindered the movement of the Georgian Railway. Trains moving in the main direction temporarily stopped. Restoration work is underway, and traffic will resume by around 13:00. Georgian Railway apologizes for the delay," the statement said.
