Georgians must stand together to improve critical situation, Zaza Tsereteli says

We all must stand together, representatives of health, economic, business sectors, and citizens, to improve this critical situation, Senior Adviser to the Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Norway, Zaza Tsereteli said.

Mr. Tsereteli thinks that planned restrictions will result in a drop in people's movement and a reduction of pressure on the healthcare sector.

"The decision to enforce restrictions is reasonable as it will lead to decreased people mobility and reduced contact numbers. Abiding by three key rules - wearing face masks, keeping two-meter social distance, and washing our hands - is of vital significance," Tsereteli said, adding that the Georgian government is working actively to make vaccines available for citizens.
