The Ambassador of Germany to Georgia, Hubert Knirsch, has granted protective appliances to the Departments of Environment Supervision and Forest Protection at the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia.
According to the information from the Ministry, the sets of appliances contain disinfection barriers, disinfection liquids, protective gloves, and masks. It is noteworthy that the staff of Departments of Environment Supervision is actively participating in activities to protect the order.
Iuri Nozadze, Deputy Minister, thanked the German government and German international organization (GIZ) for the active support amid coronavirus pandemic.
German Ambassador, Hubert Knirsch stressed the importance of Georgia and Germany cooperation that count many years.
The activity was held in the framework of the Ecoservice Program implemented by GIZ.
