Giorgi Antsukhelidze Square will be arranged in the village of Tkhinvala. The Mayor of the capital, Kakha Kaladze, stated about it at the sitting of the Tbilisi government.
According to Kaladze, the project will be prepared, and the works will start by the end of the year.
"After consulting with the population, we made a decision, and I would like to instruct the Vake district governor today to arrange a square named after Giorgi Antsukhelidze. As you know, Giorgi Antsukhelidze often visited the village of Tkhinvala, where his mother, Lili Antsukhelidze, lived. The children of our national hero, Giorgi Antsukhelidze - Levan, and Ana, still have a house in Tkhinvala, and they will have the opportunity to relax in the square named after their father, who was a hero," said Kakha Kaladze.
