Giorgi Gabunia had better kneel and apologize: Ramzan Kadyrov

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov denied reports saying that he planned to assassinate Georgian journalist Giorgi Gabunia.

"Georgian media outlets have disseminated information saying that the government of Chechnya ordered to assault a Georgian journalist. The truth, however, is that I am not interested in the slightest in some unlucky people. These people are just trying to be in the limelight and crave media attention. Georgian politics, like Ukrainian, is dead, and their governments are making some stupid statements instead of taking care of their people. This time, they fabricated some lie according to which I hired a killer who, following Kadyrov's order, planned to assault some quasi-journalist. Gentlemen, trust me when I delegate a task to someone, they fulfill this task without it becoming public.

This quasi-journalist of yours, who sells himself as a representative of media, is hardly alive and suffers from megalomania. All reputable media outlets kick similar people out from their circles. However, I underscore, we have not forgotten how he insulted the state, people, and, accordingly, me, and he had better kneel and apologize. He insulted each Russian citizen rather than one man only. I appeal to the Georgian government to bring up this man, and I call upon this man not to jump at conclusions and take reasonable actions. Otherwise, he will become my personal enemy," Kadyrov wrote on social media.

General Director of the Mtavari Arkhi TV Company Nika Gvaramia has recently issued a statement saying that Ramzan Kadyrov intended to eliminate Giorgi Gabunia.
