The Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia instructed the state representatives to respond immediately to the challenges in the regions and strictly control the implementation of the relevant regulations even while lifting the restrictions, not to jeopardize the results achieved stabilizing the epidemiological situation, the government administration reported.
According to them, the state representatives in the regions presented a detailed report to the Prime Minister on the epidemiological situation in the municipalities. They noted that the current situation is stabilizing, which has contributed to the hospital sector's unloading, and challenges in this regard are not on the agenda.
"The head of government stressed the need for maximum mobilization of state representatives in the regions to ensure effective management of processes on the ground and called on the governors to take even more effective steps in this direction.
The Prime Minister holds regular meetings with state representatives to obtain detailed information on the situation in the regions and address the identified challenges," the statement said.
