The Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia, together with the Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Ekaterine Tikaradze, met with the representatives of the clinics.
The head of government spoke about creating a separate group of resuscitators, leading the management of severe and critical patients throughout the country. The process will be carried out in full coordination with the clinical group headed by Tengiz Tsertsvadze.
"Today, the health care system is in a position to manage the number of infected people. Therefore, it is most important for us to quickly test the infected people, establish their contacts, and isolate them. Our goal is to admit those patients to the hospital who need it. As soon as a person gets to the hospital, the condition is either severe or critical. That is why we think it would be right to do a separate group of resuscitators. Of course, the knowledge of the clinical group that has been accumulated should be used by all of us. The success of the first wave had its heroes. Now we are entering the second wave, where there are other problems, and we need new heroes," Gakharia stated.
Prime Minister called on everyone to use the app - Stop COVID, which warns citizens about possible contact with an infected person.
