Allergologist-immunologist, the director of the Clinic NeoLab Giorgi Kamkamidze, says that it is a big problem when patients with past allergies are sent away from vaccination centers.
According to him, allergies in the past are not an indication against vaccination.
"The only complete contraindication, the absolute contraindication is a severe allergic reaction to the previous dose. In this case, the patient will not receive the second dose.
There is a list of diseases where we just have to be careful; this warning is a delay of 30 to 45 minutes at the vaccination center," Giorgi Kamkamidze said on Rustavi 2.
