Rain is expected in Georgia with occasional thunderstorms on May 8, from the second half of the day to May 11. In some places, there is a possibility of an intense hail and wind, 3-4 magnitude turmoil at sea. The National Environment Agency spreads information about the weather in the country.
"Expected heavy rains can significantly increase water levels in Georgian rivers and cause floods in some places.
In the mountainous areas of the country, snow avalanches can form and trigger landslides," the statement said.
