Georgian Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze said that she fails to see the necessity for her resignation.
"In addition to managing the pandemic, I have reiterated that I intend to pass a number of reforms which I will implement gradually. I do not think that the Lelo party is entitled to decide whether or not Tikaradze must leave her post," with this statement, she responded to the Lelo for Georgia party's requirement of her resignation.
Today, Lelo for Georgia party leaders Ana Natsvlishvili and Vato Surguladze held the briefing at which they demanded Tikaradze's resignation. They also said that the health minister must be held accountable for late vaccination.
