A car accident has reportedly occurred in the Verkhvebi settlement, the Gori region. A high-ranking cop, the Deputy Head of the Shida Kartli Division of the Patrol Police Department, has reportedly been injured in the accident. He has sustained head injuries and was hospitalized. However, the victim's health condition proved stable, and he was released shortly after being admitted to the hospital.
The investigation is in progress under article 276 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, envisaging violation of traffic laws and road safety, resulting in health damage.
