Homage paid to deceased Azerbaijani journalists in Georgia

At the Integration Center for Azerbaijanis in Georgia, homage has been paid to Siraj Abishov, a camera operator at AzTV, and Maharram Ibrahimov, a journalist of AZERTAC news agency, who hit the mine in the liberated Kalbajar region of Azerbaijan when performing their professional duties.

Representatives of the Integration Center, the local Azerbaijani bureau, and Azerbaijani language media outlets in Georgia were present at the event.

Representatives of different media outlets offered their deepest condolences on the tragic deaths of their colleagues.

Director-General of local Report News Agency, Mamed Suleimanov, expressed sincere condolences for the journalists' death in his speech.

Representatives of media outlets stressed that the deceased journalists proved the victims of another war crime by Armenia and emphasized that Armenia has to provide Azerbaijan with maps of landmines planted by the Armenian armed forces.

At the end of the ceremony, they read an address to the international organizations in Georgia, emphasizing that Armenia's refusal to provide Azerbaijan with the corresponding maps constitutes an egregious violation of international norms.
