The process of home treatment of patients infected with coronavirus has started in Batumi.

According to Nona Efadze, the deputy director of the Adjara Public Health Center, there are patients already undergoing treatment at home while being under doctors' supervision. She explained the difference between the patients who cannot be treated at home and those who can.

"This is the second day the home treatment processes strictly prescribed by the protocol, started. Those who get treated at home are mild and asymptomatic cases. As for pregnant women, people with chronic diseases, the elderly, children, and other categories can not be treated at home," Efadze said.
