"Tbilisoba-2020" is underway in an unusual format. The traditional fall festivities have been replaced by concerts and are broadcast on TV.
Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze awarded the title of "Honored Citizens of Tbilisi" to nine doctors and writer Guram Dochanashvili.
"I congratulate everyone on Tbilisoba, who cares about this city. I congratulate those who created Tbilisi's history, who cares about it today and thus makes this beautiful city's future. I congratulate the people who are now fighting a strange virus," Kakha Kaladze said.
