Georgian Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia says that around 50% of hospital beds are vacant countrywide.
In Gabunia's words, hospitals are capable of receiving more patients and managing them.
Gabunia once again emphasized the significance of vaccination against the Omicron coronavirus variant stressing that citizens' involvement in the vaccination program is crucial.
