Houses of justice to open with some restrictions

"The houses of justice and community centers will open tomorrow," the Minister of Justice said at a briefing at the governmental administration.

According to Tea Tsulukiani, the mentioned services will work according to the new principle.

"To apply for various services and visit the building of the House of Justice, Community Center, or Notary Bureau, you will need to book a visit through the citizen portal www.my.gov.ge on the desired day and time. No citizen will be able to enter the building by ignoring the website. The electronic reservation system is valid from now on, and you can book your visit. The only thing that will not be active is the marriage service, as it involves the presence of a certain number of people in one space. The new principle will be valid until the end of the state of emergency, and as time passes, we will act depending on the epidemiological situation. Citizens will not be allowed in the building without masks; also, children are not allowed to enter the building," Tsulukiani said.

Due to the threat of the spread of coronavirus, the houses of justice and community centers closed on March 31.
