Research show that coronavirus harms not only the respiratory system but also other organs, according to the head of the NCDC Amiran Gamkrelidze.
"It damages veins, heart muscle tissues, and brain; however, as far as I am concerned, our patients have not suffered from these serious complications," Gamkrelidze declared, adding that the Ministry of Health plans to implement a program for subjecting former coronavirus patients to long-term observation.
