"When you cannot help patients or their caregivers who contact you via the hotline asking to provide them with inpatient care, you feel dejected," Levan Ratiani, the Director of the First University Clinic of Tbilisi State Medical University, said, adding that people must unite to save lives.
"We have to help these people. We should learn how to take care of each other. There is a light at the end of every tunnel. The government, right and left-wing parties must put their heads together to decide what the country must do to have as few victims as possible," Ratiani said in his televised interview with Formula TV.
Georgia recorded 3,958 cases in the past 24 hours to bring the total tally to 108,690. A total of 3,531 patients have recovered, with their number increasing to 89,170.
The country has registered 1,012 deaths (36 recent).
