In the Tskaltubo municipality, Maia Tskitishvili, the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, and Ekaterine Tikaradze, the Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia have gifted new flats to 140 IDP families.

"We have reiterated that IDPs are our greatest concern; we worry about the occupied regions and returning these territories, including your property and land through peaceful negotiations, are vitally important for us. However, providing you with maximally comfortable living conditions in the situation in which you found yourselves is also absolutely important. We assure you that we will make all-out efforts to create adequate living conditions for IDP families. It is actually a great accomplishment of ours that despite the raging pandemic, we have not slowed down the pace and have managed to improve IDPs' living conditions," Ekaterine Tikaradze declared.

Six apartment buildings are being constructed in Tskhaltubo, with 420 more families set to be provided with new flats.
