If people comply with rules, children will attend schools, Imnadze says

Deputy Head of the NCDC Paata Imnadze says that citizens need to comply with the existing antivirus regulations if they want their children to attend schools.

"If we want our children to attend face-to-face classes, we should wear face masks and keep a safe physical distance in confined areas. If we do so, children will go to school. We cannot pose risks to education. Online classes have already started, but now we want to shift to face-to-face.

Provision of supervisors everywhere is impossible, which is why everything depends on us now," Imnadze said, adding that neither will coronavirus now disappear nor the case numbers will dramatically decrease, but if people follow the rules, it will not have serious consequences.
