Restrictions on preventing the spread of the coronavirus in Georgia will be eased. The relevant decision was made by the Interagency Coordination Council headed by Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili.

According to the Prime Minister, the following restrictions will be lifted:

Hotels will open in the mountain resorts from February 25.

From March 8, the ski lifts will be available at the mountain resorts.

From March 1 in Batumi and from March 8 in the rest of Georgia, restaurants will receive guests except weekends.

From February 25, intercity traffic will resume.

Restrictions on movement during night hours remain in force.

Preschools, both public and private ones, resume functioning from March 1, and once every two weeks, 20 percent of the staff will be subject to mandatory testing.
