"The ruling party will present the opposition and international partners the electoral system in the near future," Irakli Kobakhidze said at a plenary session.
According to him, consultations with the opposition will continue.
"Despite the destructive measures, which we daily face from the opposition, we made this decision," Kobakhidze said.
According to him, unlike the German model, the Multi-mandate majoritarian constituencies are fully compatible with the Georgian constitution.
