A car accident took place in Khevsureti at the village of Biso.

A group of tourists was heading to Shatili. The touristic firm that organized the tour is unknown yet.
The catastrophe killed 12 people.
The identification of the passengers is in process.
“Public Security Management Center “112” got an alarming notification from the Dusheti Municipality on a road accident that occurred at Biso village, where a traffic accident as a result of which a minibus crashed into the gorge of around 80-meter height.” – the Internal Ministry spreads the information.
Reportedly, the staff from all divisions of MIA were mobilized in the place immediately after the notification. Groups of patrol, criminal police, emergency management, ambulance, and rescue, as well as specialized techniques, are mobilized.
“Rescue operations are in underway, all safety norms preserved. Despite complicated landscape and adverse meteorological conditions, the rescue operation is not interrupted.
According to preliminary information, twelve citizens are dead, and three are severely injured. The late are moved to safe territory, and the ambulance is transporting them to the hospital. Some passengers are missing; rescuers continue the search. All relevant types of expertise are ordered.
