The Emergency Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia will receive another fire fighting vehicle, with the Japanese Embassy's support in Georgia.

As the ministry reports, the technical facility will serve the Lagodekhi municipality in the Kakheti region.

The transfer contract was signed at the Japanese Embassy.

The event was attended by the head of the Emergency Management Service, Teimuraz Mgebrishvili. He addressed the audience with a speech and thanked the Ambassador of Japan, Imamura Akira.

The project will be implemented under the Grant Assistance Program (GGP) of the Government of Japan.

It will be the fifth fire-fighting vehicle received by Georgia with the help of Japanese friends.
