According to Kakha Kaladze, the Mayor of Tbilisi, agreement regarding the replacement of minibusses has been reached.
The new minibusses will be introduced without increasing the fare, and the process of replacing will start next year.
Kaladze expressed gratitude to the parties involved in the negotiations, including the Vice Mayor for the achieved results.
"We have begun the replacement of public transport. Two weeks ago, we came across a vital and sensitive topic of replacing minibusses, and the Vice Mayor of Tbilisi received a special task," Kaladze said.
According to the Mayor of the capital, the use of old minibusses is a serious inconvenience for passengers. He also noted the problem of air pollution.
