Georgian actor Kakhi Kavsadze has been buried next to his wife’s grave at Saburtalo cemetery, Tbilisi.
The civil funeral was held at Rustaveli Theatre.
Georgia’s PM Irakli Garibashvili, Parliamentary Speaker Kakha Kuchava, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, politicians, colleagues, and the public offered their condolences to Kavsadze’s family members.
Kakhi Kavsadze died of coronavirus complications on April 27, aged 86.
