Lawyer: They knew nurse Megi was unwell but abandoned her anyway

''The investigation of the case of the late nurse who died of the novel virus is underway, with witnesses accused of giving false testimony; however, the facts about which they decided to lie have been overlooked,'' Vakho Baramashvili, lawyer of late Megi Barbakadze's family, wrote this in his social media post.

In his post, the lawyer accused health workers Violeta Inasaridze and Giorgi Aptsiauri of negligence as 'they knew nurse Megi was unwell but abandoned her anyway.'

Mr. Baramashvili also says that 10 weeks went by after the nurse's death, but Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau has not yet published its opinion.

On March 18, in Akhaltsikhe, at the clinic "Imedi," a young nurse fell into a coma after taking the coronavirus vaccine "AstraZeneca."

The nurse allegedly developed anaphylactic shock after the vaccine was given.

A 27-year-old Megi Bakradze was taken from Akhaltsikhe by the Disaster Brigade to the First University Clinic in Tbilisi.

A young nurse died at the Clinic.

On April 7, the prosecutor's office filed charges against doctors in the case of Megi Bakradze.

The accused in the case of the deceased nurse, Megi Bakradze - Violeta Inasaridze, Tea Gzirishvili, and Beka Liparteliani, were sentenced to GEL 3 000 bails as a measure of restraint.
