"You can not imagine how difficult it is to tell someone yes and refuse to others," Levan Ratiani, the director of the First University Clinic, said.
He says he gets many calls and messages during the day where patients ask for help, but he is unable to help.
He said health policy should change so that patients are not left without medical care.
"Patients are suffering. Some changes must be made in the Georgian healthcare system so that the people of our country looking for help are not left in despair.
Everyone should think of something together and first of all, the Ministry of Health. Things like this should not happen again, and patients who need hospitalization should get medical help. The state must do everything for this.
The number of infected people is progressively increasing, the number of deaths is progressively increasing, therefore, the position or the opposition, everyone must find a way to save the population," Levan Ratiani said.
