The Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia, said at a briefing after the Interagency Coordination Council meeting that there will be no systemic "lockdown" in the country but only temporary selective restrictions.

"There will be no systemic lockdown across the state. There will be selective, temporary ones to achieve specific goals. It all depends on following the rules, wearing masks, keeping distance, and so on. Victory over the second wave should be our common victory," said the Prime Minister.

One thousand six hundred ninety-six new patients tested positive for coronavirus in Georgia, while 2 906 patients defeated the virus. Information about this got published on the official website created by the government.
