Infectionist Maia Butsashvili says that the new strain spread in Russia will automatically reach Georgia, because the mobility between the two countries is quite large.
"Very often there is a coronavirus mutation and the emergence of new strains, and there is always a tendency for a new strain to spread much faster and be much easier to transmit than a previous strain. The same trend is evident with this new strain," Maia Butsashvili said.
